La capitale Port Au Prince e il paese intero non sono "tornati al medioevo".
Non lo hanno mai superato. Ad Haiti non esiste alcuna forma di tessuto sociale né istituzionale. Il terremoto non è che un episodio nella vita di un paese che vive letteralmente una tragica storia quotidiana. Le organizzazioni che operano in questo momento sul territorio affrontano dunque doppie difficoltà perché la possibilità di ricevere collaborazioni dalle autorità locali nel teatro operativo sono pari a zero. |
Capital Port Au Prince and the entire country haven't really gone back to the middleage. They haven't really passed it through. In Haiti there is no social nor institutional texture. Earthquake has been only another fatal accident into a daily tragic history of the country. Organisations actually operating are facing double problems because they can't get any help from insitutions on site. |
